The Shop
An old wooden bowl from India. Bought over 50 years ago. It broke. I fixed it. Back at the table, hopeful for another decade.
Experimenting with different types of wood, making cutting boards. Engraved by burning the Blacksmoker symbol into the wood.
Building a wooden fishtank
Experimenting with epoxy and styrofoam, burning and impermeabilization techniques.
Repairing a Gibson SG that broke between the neck and the headstock. Fortunately, the repair bonded well and turned out perfectly. I deeply admire and respect the luthier. The work is incredibly artistic and truly handcrafted.
Organizing stones by size to add to different types of soil for plants
Pure, rich black soil mixed with compost.
One of the tools I use most in the shop.
One of my earliest fascinations: Murano glass. At around seven, watching molten glass shaped in front of me left a lasting impression.
